ROL: Electrical Department Manager
We need someone in our team that can troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues at school and in the base area and to repair the electric fences.
We expect the new hire to raise sponsorship for the new photovoltaic panel system, for batteries, for inverters, for tools etc. We also expecting that the new hire will cover the transportation and food costs
Job description
Activities may include:
- Troubleshoot and maintenance for the photovoltaic panel system (weekly)
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues at school and in the base area.
- Repair electric fences
- Ensure the electrical appliances used for fences are working properly
Responsabilities
- Conduct site inspections to assess electrical infrastructure requirements.
- Supervise installation of solar panels, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Ensure proper routing and installation of cables, conduits, and grounding systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor energy performance and system efficiency post-installation.
- Verifying material orders according to the design prior to the start of construction.
- Communicating with suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years relevant work experience
- 1-2 years management experience will be a plus
